From a plot standpoint, Running Scared is a standard buddy cop flick. However, Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal excel as the "buddies", and the writing is better than usual for this type of movie. Funny and action-filled, this film may not be a classic, but it is a great way to spend an hour & a half when nothing else is on.
