ABSTRACT
Treasure hunter Ben Finnegan's fascination with a collection of centuries-old chests said to be lost at sea called the Queen's Dowry blossomed into a career-ruining obsession, bankrupting him, separating him from exasperated wife Tess, and leaving him in debt to a murderous rap star. Eager to win back Tess' heart, Ben convinces her new employer, adventurous billionaire Nigel Honeycutt, to finance his latest push for the Queen's Dowry on the strength of a "new clue", dragging Tess along for the ride just as his violent creditor hires an area gangster to compete with him for the loot.
