Play Misty for Me (3-Nov-1971)

Director: Clint Eastwood Writers: Jo Heims; Dean Riesner Original Music by: Dee Barton Producer: Robert Daley Keywords: Thriller, Talk Radio Carmel radio disc jockey Dave Garver has a one-night stand with a fan, Evelyn Draper, whose request is always the song "Play Misty For Me." At least he thought it was a one-night stand; she shows up at his place with groceries the next day. Further complications ensue when Dave's ex-girlfriend returns to town. Psychological suspense thriller is a fine directorial debut for Clint Eastwood. Inspiration for films such as Fatal Attraction (1987).
