ABSTRACT Aging temptress Max Conners works as a con woman alongside daughter Page, scamming wealthy men into marriage so that Page's charm can lead them into infidelity and a costly day in divorce court. Mother and daughter's plans for one last con to act as insurance cash before "retirement" fall through when Page develops an actual crush on millionaire bartender Jack, threatening to compromise their endeavor at a time when they are already receiving unwelcome attention from IRS agents seeking to claim taxes from their past earnings.
