Film adaptation of the television series of the same name follows a manufactured girl group as they are made aware of a conspiracy to brainwash fans of pop music.

ABSTRACT
Josie, Melody, and Val, individualistic young musicians hoping to court success with their eclectic sounds, are discovered by hitmaker Wyatt Frame and transformed into legend-in-the-making girl group Josie and the Pussycats. Dollar signs and hit records are in the cards for Josie and company until they discover a recording industry-backed conspiracy to brainwash the youth of America with mindless pop music, sending them on a mission to upend corporate bad guys and win the day for rebellious youngsters everywhere.
