ABSTRACT
Danny Boyce, a special ops agent-turned-professional assassin, retires from his craft in 1980 after a traumatic incident in which he was forced to eliminate a target in front of the man's young child. When he is summoned to Oman a year later and informed that he must complete a mission agreed to by his mentor -- who is now being held hostage -- if he ever wants to see him alive again, David finds himself thrust back into his perilous old line of work, performing battle against agents of his old friend's captors in a high-stakes fight for his life.
