ABSTRACT
John Hughes High School serves as the setting for this intentionally ridiculous send-up of "teen movie" cliches dotting the Hollywood landscape in the 1980s and 90s, following artist-cum-social outcast Jenny Briggs, jock Jake Wyler, and a cast of other overplayed character types as they embark on a journey filled with chills, spills, and an expected melodramatic lesson about discovering one's "inner beauty" buried deep inside.
