ABSTRACT
Jacob Sternwood, an Icelandic fugitive who had successfully evaded capture at the hands of British authorities some time ago, returns to London to rescue his son following a botched heist. When detective Max Lewinsky sets out on a last-ditch campaign to catch the man he'd failed to arrest years earlier, however, the two ultimately find themselves united in an unlikely alliance to unravel a deep conspiracy that could lead to their deaths if left unsolved.
