ABSTRACT
Recent divorcee Sarah Cassidy and daughter Elissa move into a house in a pleasant upscale town, able to afford doing so because of its location just a few houses down from the site of a gruesome murder four years earlier. When Elissa begins dating the sole survivor of the ordeal against her mother's wishes, however, she learns firsthand that the supposed historical travesty is anything but.
