Pretty decent soft-core movie, high production values, based on a 1957 book by Emanuelle Arsan (real name Marayat Rollet-Andriane, born Marayat Bibidh in 1932, Bangkok, Thailand) about "her" life as the wife of a French diplomat in exotic Bangkok. Nice looking talent, as one might have guessed some Asians, non-penetrational F/F and M/F action. Made quite the star of Dutch actress Sylvia Kristel who plays the lead. Bunch of sequels followed, none These were the 1970, the rotan love-chair esp brings back memories of the days when the non-paper-bag crowd only had access to (French) artsy nudie films. More of a "watch with the GF" movie than jerk-off material, but all in all definitely not a bad movie.
