ABSTRACT
Remake of Bangkok Dangerous (1999). American hitman Joe is a capable professional murderer, working in Bangkok on a four-kill contract for a Thai mob boss with plans to retire shortly thereafter. He operates under a rather simple, if questionable, moral code: Stay anonymous; cover your tracks; avoid asking questions; resist the temptations of romance. Joe's rigid code cracks under the pressures of his tough endeavor, a problem made even worse when he pursues a relationship with a deaf local.
