ABSTRACT
Sequel to Before Sunrise (1995). Nine years on from the events of Before Sunrise, Jesse is now a successful writer, embarking on a book tour in France to promote a novel inspired by his time spent with Celine. Time, much like in the previous film, works in ways mysterious and magnificent, unexpectedly drawing Celine -- now an environmental activist mired in a loveless relationship -- into another encounter with her old friend as they interact in Paris and work to manage their long-standing feelings for one another once and for all.
