ABSTRACT Sequel to Shaft (1971). An arrest of well-heeled Walter Wade, Jr. following a racially-motivated killing falls through when a key witness disappears and Wade jumps bail for Europe; two years on, with Wade back in America to face trial, Shaft must fight against long odds brought about by his adversary's connections to track down the wanted witness and get his man.
