Historical drama details republican conflict with the British in early-20th century Ireland.

ABSTRACT
Ireland's desire for independence from the United Kingdom in 1919 is met with harsh resistance, resulting in the formation of vicious "Black and Tan" squads sent by the British to scare them away from their ambitions. Unwilling to give up without a battle, scores of Irish commoners take up arms to fight back; would-be doctor Damien, driven by idealistic nationalist thought, abandons his path in life to fight alongside brother Teddy, helping to bring the British to their knees in a valiant effort ultimately giving way to a devastating civil war.
