Atlas Shrugged: Part I (15-Apr-2011)
Director: Paul Johansson Writers: John Aglialoro; Brian Patrick O'Toole From novel: Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand Keywords: Drama Titans of business Dagny Taggart and Henry Rearden face regulatory obstacles in their attempt to build a high-speed rail transport system in an alternate future reality which hinges on the viability of rail transport. This first third of Atlas Shrugged was produced on a $15M budget. It retains the feel of a made-for-TV movie: mediocre acting, lacking in drama, comically bad dialogue. Enjoyable perhaps for those who have drunk deeply of Ayn Rand's ideological kool-aid.
