ABSTRACT
Sequel to Ip Man (2008). Ip Man, grandmaster of the Wing Chun discipline of martial arts, moves his family to Hong Kong in the early 1950s following their escape from Foshan. Once there, the combat maven sets up shop and attempts to propagate his beloved discipline, facing challenges in the form of a lack of a local reputation and competition from grandmasters of rivaling disciplines on his way to ultimate glory.
