ABSTRACT
Remake of When a Stranger Calls (1979). High schooler Jill Johnson, forced to take a babysitting gig at a large house as punishment for exceeding her cell phone's allotted minutes, is harassed over the phone by a stranger asking her a vague question: "Have you checked the children?" Frightened, Jill asks the police to trace the call, only to learn that it is coming from inside the house; now, Jill must work to save the children in her care with a dangerous interloper possibly lurking in her midst.
