ABSTRACT
Charles Schine, high-powered Chicago-area businessman struggling with his marriage and daughter's long-running kidney ailment, ignites a chance flame with fellow professional Lucinda Harris on a commuter train to work one day leading to a sexual encounter in a hotel room. A thief invades our pair's room as they prepare to have sex, brutalizing Charles and raping Lucinda; the situation escalates to a breaking point when Charles attempts to turn the tables on the thief, now blackmailing him and threatening to expose his romantic transgressions to his family following the incident.
