The Brothers Grimm (29-Jul-2005)

Director: Terry Gilliam Writer: Ehren Kruger Keywords: Fantasy Two traveling con artists making their trade off false "exorcisms" happen upon an all-too-real curse requiring actual courage to overcome.
ABSTRACT Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm, folklore collectors and con artists sustaining themselves through the performance of bogus "exorcisms" and other feats of apparent paranormal-fighting strength, arrive in the French-occupied German town of Karlstadt in the early nineteenth century to exterminate a witch's ghost terrorizing the area. A short celebration following the "success" of their endeavor is interrupted by French general Delatombe's soliciting them to investigate a fairytale curse propagated by a real supernatural force, requiring our pair to display true skill and courage if they are to succeed and avoid being exposed as flim-flam men.
