ABSTRACT
Ages removed from a collapse of civilization brought about by war and depleted resources, the evil Immortan Joe rules over the remnants of humanity with access to clean water and fertile land. "Mad" Max Rockatansky, a grizzled brute of few words, escapes the clutches of Joe's thugs and becomes a fighter for good; joining up with Imperator Furiosa, the pair of crusading gearheads set out on a balls-to-the-wall odyssey to save the destiny of a dystopian desert hellscape.

Nominated for ten Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
