Senior citizens at a St. Petersburg retirement home regularly trespass to swim in a neighboring pool; after that property is rented they continue their visits, however those who swam find themselves energized with unexpected vigor. Ensemble veteran cast is excellent; some good underwater cinematography. Won Oscars for Best Supporting Actor and Best Visual Effects. Received a Hugo nomination for Best Dramatic Presentation.
