ABSTRACT
Arthur, a cranky old man and husband to Marion, an enthusiastic member of their town's area seniors choir, decides to please his wife by taking her place in the group when she becomes so terminally ill that she may no longer participate. In doing so, Arthur begins to ease into a newer, cooler personality, one that allows him to accept closer ties with his estranged son and an imminent existence without his beloved wife.
