Pilot for a never-produced Syfy television series tells the quasi-religious tale of a planet humans inhabit following their death on Earth.

ABSTRACT
Hale, an astronaut of Earthly origin, passes away, ending up on a strange planet known as "Riverworld" and inhabited by fellow former Earth-dwellers. The planet, a primordial sort of "sandbox" whose denizens are left to exist and fight amongst themselves while watched over by a mysterious group of hooded figures, serves as a source of infinite curiosity for the recently-deceased Hale, leading him to spearhead a revolt that sees a number of Riverworld inhabitants setting out on a boat to explore the rest of the world.
