ABSTRACT
Megamind, a ridiculously intelligent alien creature and resident super-villain of the fictional Metro City, maintains a long-standing yet mostly hapless rivalry with beloved superhero Metro Man. When Megamind finally defeats his arch-rival one day by killing him with a death ray at a museum's dedication ceremony, he is plunged into an existential crisis incited by his lack of a sworn enemy to do battle with that sees him struggling to find renewed purpose in life.
