ABSTRACT
Based on a real-life story as told in the memoir Between a Rock and a Hard Place, 127 Hours follows canyoneer Aron Ralston as he ventures out into Utah's Canyonlands National Park on April 25, 2003, telling the story of how he found himself trapped under a boulder in the treacherous Blue John Canyon and ultimately had to sever his right arm after an extended near-fatal ordeal in order to survive.
