Lestat, a vampire coming to in the modern world following a century-long slumber in his coffin, focuses his energies on rock music, soon becoming a worldwide sensation along the lines of Marilyn Manson. Lestat's music inadvertently awakens all-powerful vampire queen Akasha, drawing our bloodsucking rocker into a conflict between a deity-like supernatural entity bent on conquering the world and making him her king and a band of vampires eager to vanquish her.
