ABSTRACT
Rajjo, an idealistic Indian woman, runs a sanctuary for abused women in a country beset by domestic violence issues, preoccupied with a crusade to build a school for her village's underprivileged children. Standing in her way all along her journey is Sumitra Devi, a corrupt politician facing a tough battle for re-election whose opposition to Rajjo's plans ultimately turn violent when she sets members of her entourage loose to wreak havoc, setting the stage for a high-stakes final confrontation between good and evil in a troubled land.
