ABSTRACT
Titled The Revenge in its native tongue, In a Better World follows third-world Danish doctor Anton and wife Marianne as their relationship troubles brought about in part by the demands of his job impact the life of ten-year old son Elias. Bullied at school, Elias's unlikely friendship with British boy Christian grows into a tragic bond that threatens to tear two separate families apart when he is compelled to take part in a dangerous act of revenge.
