ABSTRACT
One Eye, a mute warrior of untold strength capable of dispatching any foe unlucky enough to cross paths with him, escapes a prison operated by his Norse captors and sets out on a wild journey with helpful young peasant Are. The pair's travels take them aboard a Viking ship headed to the "New World", forcing One Eye to search his soul for his true sense of self after coming face-to-face with Christianity's sweep across his native land.
