ABSTRACT
Alain, an unemployed father to a young son, leaves Belgium for southern France in search of work. Taking up a job as a bouncer at a nightclub whilst maintaining a long-standing passion for kickboxing, he meets Stéphanie, a killer whale trainer who takes a romantic interest in him after he escorts her home one night following a club brawl. The real journey, however, begins when Stéphanie is nearly fatally injured in an accident in her line of work one day, forcing Alain to test the limits of their burgeoning romance as she attempts to cope with her sudden disability.
