Fourth installment in the Terminator franchise centers on John Connor's continued battle against a Skynet juggernaut.

ABSTRACT
Third sequel to The Terminator (1984). Set in 2018, long removed from previous entries in its franchise, Terminator Salvation takes place in a universe in which Skynet has more or less asserted its dominance over humanity, eliminating scattered pockets of resistance as it finds them. John Connor remains, of course, working alongside several other mortals to find Kyle Reese and attempt to guarantee humanity's continued existence in an increasingly one-sided battle.
