ABSTRACT
Toorop, a war veteran-turned-mercenary taking a variety of underworld jobs to sustain his existence, is hired by criminal Gorsky to escort a woman named Aurora from a religious commune in western Russia to the United States in exchange for a hefty payday. A chance discovery of Aurora's paranormal abilities and disclosure that she is a virgin pregnant with twins opens Toorop's eyes to a cult-operated conspiracy seeking to produce the next Messiah, forcing him into action to prevent a calamity of Biblical proportions from unfolding.
