ABSTRACT
Lightning McQueen, a cocky, talented young race car on his way to the final race of the Piston Cup series, crashes into the sleepy town of Radiator Springs in transit to the big event. Sentenced to community service as a result of his unintentionally destroying a portion of the town, Lightning reluctantly sticks around, learning classically-Disney lessons about family, friendship, and humility in the process of ingratiating himself with and attempting to do right by an offbeat cast of characters.
