Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (17-Feb-1989)

Director: Stephen Herek Writers: Chris Matheson; Ed Solomon Keywords: Sci-Fi/Comedy, Time Travel, Rock and Roll Idiots Ted Logan and Bill Preston will fail high school without an A+ in history, which would mean military school for Ted and the end of their rock band, the Wyld Stallyns. But as world peace in the future jamming-based society depends on the success of the Stallyns, the most excellent Rufus arrives from that future, bestowing on them a time machine phone booth by which they will collect key historical figures (plus some fine medieval ladies) from the past for their oral presentation. Followed by a sequel, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (1991).
