ABSTRACT
Cleveland, a stuttering apartment building superintendent, happens upon and rescues a strange young woman by the name of Story from his building's swimming pool one unusual day. In time, Cleveland learns that Story hails from the confines of a children's bedtime fable, working to return the beautiful young woman to her world as apartment tenants -- themselves taking roles as nefarious characters from Story's own tale -- appear poised to thwart his mission at every juncture.
