A group of American adults must work to find a way to escape the clutches of a surprise alien invasion.

ABSTRACT
Jerrod, a young American man, travels to Los Angeles with girlfriend Elaine in tow to attend best friend Terry's birthday party. Concerns ranging from an argument over whether or not the couple should move to Elaine's announcement of her pregnancy suddenly seem petty by comparison when aliens invade Earth the following day, paralyzing humans with blue lights projected down from the sky and forcing them into machines of extraterrestrial origin. Evading the nefarious invading forces after one member of their party is abducted, the remaining group must work to save themselves as the cities and military forces of the world gradually succumb to the strange creatures.
