ABSTRACT
Megastar white rapper Eminem makes his feature-film debut in 8 Mile, starring as B-Rabbit, a rapper as gifted as he is troubled hailing from the permanently economically depressed streets of Detroit. Driven to make a name for himself thanks to a host of problems ranging from an alcoholic mother to a dead-end job, B-Rabbit embarks on a troubled journey fraught with struggle and trauma as he attempts to seize his vision of ruling the music industry.
