A mob fixer who wants to own a restaurant must retrieve a mobster's archaeologist son from the Amazon jungle, where he is hunting for an ancient golden idol, the Gato del Diablo. In the process he becomes mixed up with a tyrannical owner of a company mining town, guerrilla fighters, the hallucinogenic "Konlabos, with a K", and angry monkeys. Stylish though straightforward action film, a flop as theatrical release but quite successful in DVD sales.
