ABSTRACT
Danny Walker and Rafe McCawley, two young men and best friends from Tennessee, find themselves serving in the Army Air Corps just before the United States' entry into World War II. Pearl Harbor is the melodramatic tale of how those two young men grow apart, become involved in a complicated love triangle involving Navy nurse Evelyn, and eventually learn to reconcile within the frame of Japan's infamous bombing of a Hawaiian military base and the war that followed.
