ABSTRACT
Based on the musical by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler. London, 1833: Benjamin Barker, a prestigious English barber married to the beautiful Lucy, is framed for a crime he didn't commit by the corrupt Judge Turpin out of jealousy over his wife and sent to rot in an Australian prison colony. Fifteen long years down the road, Benjamin finds his way back to his homeland under the alias of Sweeney Todd, consumed with a desire for revenge against the nefarious Turpin that sees him murdering his customers with a straight razor and fashioning their corpses into meat pies.
