Beautiful Thing (28-Mar-1996)
Director: Hettie MacDonald Writer: Jonathan Harvey From a play by: Jonathan Harvey Keywords: Romantic Drama REVIEWS Review by Pierre Wilén (posted on 28-Feb-2008) This is actually one of the best movies I have ever seen. The story about to guys in a suburb in England, that realize that there is more in love then just girls.
Two teenagers who doesn't know each other more than that they live at the same place, where one of them know's he is gay, and the other finds out during time.
The become good friends... More then good friends. But teenagers as they are their feelings are going on a roll-a-coster all the time.
For me to come out as gay, this film was so important. I had been struggeling a lot with my own feelings and this film made it clear that I wasn't alone.
The actors are excellent and the theme is more than good!
I can recommend ALL to see this film. It will make you think again.
Do you know something we don't?
