Jasmine, an element of high society and regular fixture on the New York City social circuit, watches her upper-crust life fall to pieces after her husband, wealthy businessman Hal, divorces her. Determined to set herself straight, she moves out to San Francisco to re-connect with her sister and attempt to pull herself back into place.
