ABSTRACT
Based on true events surrounding Mexico's 1926-29 Cristero War, For Greater Glory tells the story of how a band of fiercely Catholic Mexican rebels known as the "Cristeros" attempted an ultimately unsuccessful overthrow of their government over anti-Catholic provisions in their 1917 constitution.
