The fate of mankind is on trial in the heavens, prompted by the development on Earth of a "Super H-bomb"; prosecuting is Vincent Price as the Devil, and defending is the "Spirit of Mankind", Ronald Colman in his final film role. For both sides, a parade of guest stars and Warner stock footage makes their cases. Not a great film by any stretch, it is far from uninteresting.
