ABSTRACT
Adapted from a 1988 tell-all memoir, Behind the Candelabra follows Scott Thorson, a young animal trainer for movies in Hollywood, as he is introduced to and eventually embarks on a fateful six-year relationship with famed concert pianist Liberace. Solid performances in this HBO Films production, which no mainstream studio was willing to produce. Filmed at Zsa Zsa Gabor's mansion in Bel Air.
