ABSTRACT
Chris Kyle, rough-and-tumble Texan and all-around patriot, is moved to join the military after September 11th unites his country against an amorphous enemy in the Middle East. Driven by a desire to get one over on the terrorists, Chris develops into a sniper of unparalleled ability with over 160 confirmed kills; complications arise when he is unable to leave the war behind him after his tour of duty draws to a close.
