ABSTRACT
Sam, a sad man tormented by the untimely death of his son, lives his days cut off from the rest of society in a booze-filled docked sailboat. The discovery of his son's heretofore unknown musical talent showcased in a box of demo tapes and lyrics drives Sam to start performing his songs at a local bar, eventually joined by a young musician named Quentin as he starts an unexpectedly successful rock band.
