ABSTRACT
Billie Frank, a young woman with a gift for music languishing in an undesirable life, is discovered by producer Timothy Walker and signed to a manufactured girl group; high-powered disc jockey Julian Dice, aware of Billie's talent, makes a deal to steal her out from under Timothy's nose and take her under his wing. A promising professional and personal relationship blossoms between the pair, though their love is tested when Billie's hits carry her to a level of celebrity far outstripping the insecure Julian's place in the industry.
