ABSTRACT
Carolyn and Roger Perron move into an old farmhouse in rural Rhode Island in 1971, becoming witness to a series of terrifying happenings that result in their pet dog's death, a mysterious bruise on Carolyn's body, and their oldest daughter falling victim to an attack perpetrated by a spirit that bears a resemblance to an elderly woman. Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren are called in by the Perrons to examine the unseen terror, becoming caught up in the madness themselves as they uncover horrifying truths about the farmhouse's history.
