REVIEWS Review by anonymous (posted on 20-Jul-2005) I totally agree with this movie,
being raised in eastern Kentucky as a coalminers daughter. Now that I'm
grown am married to a miner. What the union did for these men was more
then they could have hoped for. Now you mention the union and your a
trouble maker. This movie is about having the strength and the courage
to fight for whats right. It touches your heart when you see how these
people had to live, how they fought to get better. If ever a movie was
made about how it really is in Kentucky, this one is it. A great movie
that i have watched over and over.
